Dr. Lucy Singer

Clinical Psychologist

Lucy has worked in a variety of NHS mental health services since 2014. She has worked with children and families in various settings, such as Alder Hey Children's Hospital and CAMHS. She uses a mainly relationship-focused approach to working with children and young people experiencing social, emotional and psychological difficulties whilst also drawing upon a variety of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) depending on the needs of the child and their family.
Although passionate about working with children of all ages, Lucy's specialist interest lies in working with parents and infants to support early relationships to promote the best possible start in life for young children.
Lucy obtained her Undergraduate Psychology degree from the University of Leeds. She completed a Masters degree in Health Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leeds. Lucy joined CAYP Psychology in 2020 and is available for face-to-face and remote appointments, via Zoom video conferencing.
