Service Description
This recurring consultation is to check everything is going well with your child’s medication and progress. Tweaks and changes can be discussed and made, to ensure the most personalised service. Our clinicians may gradually adjust the dosage, aiming to minimise or manage side effects, such as insomnia, decreased appetite, or increased heart rate. ADHD is not a “one-size-fits-all” difficulty. Medication titration will help us tailor the treatment plan to your child's specific needs. The titration process and the number of appointments varies from person to person. Usually, it takes between two and four months, depending on how quickly the right medication and dosage are found. We recommend your first follow up consultation to take place between 2 and 4 weeks after your child starts their medication. We then offer 4-weekly follow up appointments. You can attend as many of these 4-weekly appointments as needed. Once your child’s medication is working effectively to manage their ADHD symptoms (such as inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity), we can proceed with an request for shared care. Access to the appointments will be provided via email. Payment is made when booking. Debit and credit Cards Cards, Apple Pay and Google pay and Klana Accepted.
