Arcellia Sasu-Twum
Clinical Psychologist
Arcellia has extensive experience conducting assessments and interventions with individuals who have experienced complex developmental trauma, and these experiences span across children, young people and adults. Arcellia has experience supporting neurodevelopmental assessments for children, specifically autism assessments, and is passionate about creating a holistic picture of a child's needs to ensure that they are given the most appropriate support. Additionally, Arcellia has also enjoyed working with Looked After Children and helping the team around them to reflect on the impact of developmental trauma. Within her therapeutic work, she adopts an integrative approach drawing on a range of models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
Arcellia is passionate about representing and supporting diverse communities and aims to consider aspects of identity such as ethnicity, gender, spirituality, etc., within the assessment and therapeutic process.
Arcellia achieved her undergraduate degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and completed her Master's in Mental Health: Research and Practice at the University of Nottingham. Arcellia completed her training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leeds in 2025.
