Claudia de Cesare

Clinical Psychologist

Claudia has over 20 years of post-qualification experience, working in the public, private and third sector, both in the UK and abroad, offering services across the lifespan. Over the past 16 years, Claudia has worked in the NHS in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Medical Paediatric Services, offering a highly specialist psychological service to children, adolescents and families. Claudia has extensive experience of working with children and young people experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties along with supporting families in the process, including situations where there are adjustment needs to neurodevelopmental or physical health conditions. Claudia has extensive experience in assessing children and young people where there is a query such as Autism or ADHD. She has a comprehensive knowledge of neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents and utilises this in her clinical role. Claudia utilises a range of evidence based psychological therapies, including Systemic Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to help people improve their quality of life. Claudia is a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC), a registered systemic family psychotherapist with the UK Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
