Jenni has worked in the NHS since 2003 and as a Clinical Psychologist since 2011. She specialises in child and adolescent mental health, and works with a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Jenni works as part of the highly experienced neurodevelopmental team at CAYP Psychology and specialises in the assessment of young people with autism and in their post-diagnostic care.
Post-qualification, Jenni worked within Newcastle Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and as part of her role was lead author on a systematic review about self-reported quality of life of young children with congenital health conditions. Jenni worked for 7 years within a specialist CAMHS service in Manchester NHS Foundation Trust across the core service and service in the learning disability team, neurodevelopmental team and core services. Jenni held a research post in child and adolescent mental health research for Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust. Jenni is based at the CAYP Psychology Head Office in Whitefield and offers daytime weekday appointments.
Jenni completed her undergraduate psychology degree at the University of Northumbria (2002). As an Assistant Psychologist, Jenni was part of a child mental health research programme and was involved in several research publications. She also worked as an Assistant Psychologist at Booth Hall Children's Hospital (Manchester). Jenni completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Newcastle University (2011). She was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Children and Young People by the University of Manchester (2017).
Jenni is a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, PYL27588).
