Tania worked for the NHS as a Clinical Neuropsychologist until 2019. Since then she has worked in a specialist school for children and young people with ASD and in a specialist Autism Service within the charity sector. Tania has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the last 24 years. Tania was herself diagnosed with dyslexia when she was 14 years old, which enables her to have a unique perspective when thinking about the importance of understanding neurodiversity for an individual, their family and those involved in their everyday care, as well as the impact this can have on their wellbeing and mental health. Tania took her undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, where she also studied for her MSc in Clinical Psychology. She has also worked in other fields, including Research Administration and Business Management, providing her with a wide range of experience that helps to inform her work. Prior to qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, Tania also completed Research Master's degrees at the University of Birmingham (in child psychology) and the University of Huddersfield (Management Psychology) and post qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, Tania completed a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology alongside her work in an NHS Child Development Centre. Tania is registered with the British Psychological Society, Division of Neuropsychology (BPS 2083919755) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, PYL05853).
